The day on the George River started with a taxi ride to the put-in, the most convenient shuttle. Smooth, flat paddling gradually building up, from a grade 2 to a grade 3+.
The sky remained mostly overcast throughout, with the light shifting as the day went on. Willows lined the riverbanks towards the end, resulting in a short walk-out.
Dension River 01/11/2025
Five of us (Luke, Josh, Justin, Liam and myself) set off with the hopes of a medium to high Denison.
Four of us had already done the Dension River and knew what we were getting ourselves into. . .
